Betaal Pachisi (1997-1998)

All of us may know that in India,Rajesh Khanna was the only one to play phantom.But saying that would definitely be wrong,because except Rajesh Khanna one other actor also played the character.It was Shahbaz khan!!!

Shahbaz Khan has done the role of the phantom in 'betaal pashichi' film and show.There were about 49 epsiode TV series in the year 1997.The show displayed the 'ripoff' phantom waking up from a grave.There were a few scenes where they used animation.Nowadays the show is also considered as a rip off of phantom. Originally the mask and hood was to be used but later it was changed to no mask and leaving the character's face revealed.The Suit has yellow strips in the underwear that is actually wored above.He had 2 braclets of the same design.The boots were complete black.The belt is black and the mid is coloured red with a skull in the center.He also wore a locket on his neck.The main suit colour was in maroon.

The show aired in door darshan.It was uncopyrighted version of the phantom.... therefore,king features claimed rights for it and the show changed the storyline for a bit and changed the costume entirely which included the removal the mask(the mask was there in the promos).The show is counted in the dark fantasy genre.The show is no longer available on any platform.The theme song's audio is still available on the internet but no signs of the show.The artwork shown above is the clear look to the costume if you missed the show.
